Day 86

THIN SPACE

This week, Prayer Hour is all about justice, focusing in on a whole bunch of Manchester-based, Jesus-loving, Social Justice movements, aiming to punch holes in the darkness of our world to allow God’s love, God’s justice, God’s Kingdom to come pouring through.

Today we're going to be worshipping our God together:

Indescribable

From the highest of heights to the depths of the sea

Creation's revealing Your majesty

From the colors of Fall to the fragrance of Spring

Ev'ry creature unique in the song that it sings

All exclaiming

Indescribable uncontainable

You placed the stars in the sky

And You know them by name

You are amazing God

All powerful untamable

Awestruck we fall to our knees

As we humbly proclaim

You are amazing God

Who has told ev'ry lightning bolt where it should go

Or seen heavenly storehouses laden with snow

Who imagined the sun and gives source to its light

Yet conceals it to bring us the coolness of night

None can fathom

You are amazing God

Indescribable uncontainable

You placed the stars in the sky

And You know them by name

You are amazing God

Incomparable unchangeable

You see the depths of my heart

And You love me the same

You are amazing God

Move

When You move darkness runs for cover
When You move no one's turned away
'Cause where You are fear turns into praises
And where You are no heart's left unchanged

So come move let justice roll on like a river
Let worship turn into revival
Lord lead us back to You

When You move the outcast finds a family
When You move the orphan finds a home
Lord here we are oh teach us to love mercy
With humble hearts we bow down at Your throne
King of all generations
Let ev'ry tongue and nation
Surrender all to You alone

Come Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit
Fall on us
Burn like a fire
Living flame of love

We're on our knees holy God
Show us your glory oh God
We're on our knees
Crying for heaven to come to earth
Father God Your will be done
Christ in us Your Kingdom come
Spirit lead us now as one
Set Your church on fire again
We're on our knees
Crying for heaven to come to earth
